Summary: Learned my lesson
Comment: The first time I bought this product, I liked it. It tingled, plumped up my lips a bit and it was fun.
Every time since that I've bought it(I won't tell you how many times!), it has been a huge failure. Like putting vaseline on my lips. Greasy and gross.
So, personally, I think you have to get lucky with this product. Or maybe my lips got immune to it somehow. Regardless, for me, it's not worth the gamble. I recommend you spend the money only if you are prepared to throw it away.

Summary: Addicted to the tingle
Comment: The first time I put this on I was aware to expect a tingling or stinging. And I did want to get it off my lips the very first time. If you never tried this type of lip plumper... it does take getting used to. After the first couple times, you do get used to it. The gloss is super wet/slick looking so it gives your lips that lovely shine. Once applied you begin to feel the tingle. Your lips will flush. Don't expect bright red color or the look like you have lipstick on. It's simply your lips own natural color due to the increase in blood from the tingle. My lips do plump but don't expect the impossible. If you have thin lips, you aren't going to look like Angelina Jolie. I remember seeing a presentation for this on tv and the woman said part of the "pout" is also how you hold your lips without realizing due to the tingle. Either way, it does what it says. I know my lips look nicer with it on. I also not only got used to the tingle but possible addicted to it. As it wears off in 10 minutes or so, I sometimes put more on to get it going again. It is a small tube but it lasts awhile. This is one of the very few glosses I buy again & again. I gave it 4 stars because I wish it lasted a little longer on the lips & maybe gave just a little more fullness but I am definately not complaining.

Summary: Poutier lips hours after applied
Comment: I love this stuff! It tingles - aggressively - which was a bit of a shock my first go. I don't know it was just because I wasn't expecting it that time or if the venom has dulled my senses, but it's a duller tingle now. My lips are a more exaggerated version of their natural color, like a really great lipstick. I notice that they're poutier for a good deal of time after I've applied. It keeps working long after the tingles go away. And yeah, it's small, that makes it much more pocket friendly. It's also glossy without being too sticky. I got the gold glitter version of it, and it's not very glittery - the gloss is much more noticable than the very subtle glitter. It just adds a bit of warmth. Great find.

Summary: Gooood stuff
Comment: I really enjoyed the Lip Venom Flash product. I had heard about it quite a few times and always been intrigued. When I saw the price tag I knew it was high, but I wasn't put off since I am a lip gloss FREAK and I always pay too much. At $16.00 it was only a few bucks more than MAC.
When I first put it on, it was a little intense, but enjoyable at the same time. Very similar to eating very spicy curry and getting it on your bare lips. As to the effects, my lips were a bit larger than before (not huge, but that is to be expected from gloss) and extremely glossy. I loved that it wasn't sticky and gave my lips the added color without lipstick. A very good product! Just a little pricey. I'd buy it again though!

Summary: This Was Hyped Up Too Much
Comment: I had read about Venom in magazines and they all said the same thing... "This will make your lips give Angelina Jolie a run for her money." I didn't take that literally, of course, but I expected an impressive difference in my lips once I slicked on this gloss. Worth $16? No. It's pretty small for the package it comes in. Then, you're likely to have pinker lips than fuller ones. What I love about Venom is the tingling, it has a spicy cinnamon flavor and it feels good when you first put in on. And that does not last very long. Also, it barely does a thing to plump your lips. It looks more like a 5% size increase in my lower lip... my upper lip looks the same. It's not painful, at least not for me. They should either improve on the formula to actually make this work better or bring down the price somehow. Venom is a let-down.
