It just fits into the bag, lens down, and some maneuvering is required to get the camera strap in neatly so the bag can be zipped closed. The camera bag can either be carried by its handle or with an easy on-off shoulder strap. It seems to be sturdy, well padded and reasonably well made. It protects the camera, but that's about it. For $19.99 it's a good deal.
