Any person that is is involved in the proccess of attempting to master another language knows that, in order to achieve such a goal, having a good dictionary is primordial. I recently suscribed to a German edition of a periodical, as it was no longer available in English. Having only a very limited and rudimentary understanding of German (two semesters in college, long ago), I have found this book very useful indeed. I recommend it. Sometimes when words have multiple meanings or lots of idiomatic expressions, the entries are a bit long and confusing.
